Febuary Fishing Report "UPDATE"
Hi there regular & new bagout customers,
The fishing in Western Port is still going extremly well Whiting, Gummys, Salmon,are
all in good numbers Whiting averaging 40cm & Gummys 18kg, l have never seen so
many good sized Gummies in Western Port in ages. Outside in Bass Strait striped
Tuna are every where from 40m to 80m averaging 3kg. Sharks have plenty of food out
there at the moment. So now is the perfect time to catch one. Also Blue Fin at Portland
are being caught right now, My friend Terry & i fished this week end 20th & 21 we
caught two blue fin weighing 23.4kg & 21.7kg. The fish seem to be biting better in
rougher conditions, They were taking small lime green skirted lures, also have been
feeding on bait balls of small Red Rockets and Pilchards. The secret to catching tuna
is "FINDING THE BIRDS". Check out the pictures bellow!

Shark season is finally upon us!
A great start to the season with two fabulous
mako's caught today 24/01/10. Friend and good
mate phill caught a 35kg mako! And
skipper James caught a lovely 115kg+ mako in
his 5m tinny with good mate Dion out from port
phillip heads. Also catching a number of stripped
tuna which are in good numbers, making them
the number one shark bait! Also good size tiger
flathead caught of which are tasting good as
lm writing this report! More photo's and boat
